Continuously increasing demands on Flexo-Printing have led to a series of revolutionary developments in the last few years. With servo drive techniques, for example, a completely new drive concept was introduced. The use of printing cylinders and adapter systems made of carbon fiber was the next logical step, leading to another revolution in Flexo-Printing. The outstanding material properties of carbon fiber (CFRP), compared with steel or aluminum, allow a distinct reduction of weight with increased rigidity. Because of this, higher printing speeds and better quality can be achieved.
